A board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Shah graduated from the Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in cell biology and neuroscience. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathy degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency program at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center.
 
Dr. Shah entered the field of gastroenterology because “It is exciting but not an exact science. It gives me the perfect balance of medicine and procedure.”
 
Dr. Shah’s areas of interest include clostridium difficile and esophageal disorders.
