Dr. Ashany Sundaram is a dedicated board-certified Family Physician with experience in primary care, urgent care and occupational health. In addition to preventative measures, she will work closely with you to outline a mutually agreed upon care plan to treat, control and monitor common diagnosis such as diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, thyroid disorders, cholesterol and mood disorders. Dr. Sundaram treats patients 16 years of age and older.
After obtaining her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Sundaram completed her Family Medicine Residency training at Southern Regional-AHEC North Carolina where she was selected to participate in the Duke University Clinical Leadership program. She participated in additional coursework designed to instill young physicians with unique insight into the design and delivery of the ever changing landscape of healthcare.
Dr. Sundaram looks forward to her continued commitment to all her patients and considers her role as a primary care physician to be a privilege to give guidance to fellow human beings through physical and mental healing.
